Florida Hospital DeLand Foundation Receives Donation from West Volusia Moose Lodge

On Sunday, January 24, 2010, the West Volusia Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 2538 presented Florida Hospital DeLand and Florida Hospital Fish Memorial with $8000 towards the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The members of the Moose Lodge held fundraising events throughout the year for this gift, including auctions, motorcycle rallies, and dinners and even held a drawing for a Harley Motorcycle. Florida Hospital DeLand and Florida Hospital Fish Memorial appreciates the efforts of this great service organization is helping to grow a stronger, healthier community.

Florida Hospital DeLand, located at 701 West Plymouth Avenue in DeLand, was established in 1962 and is a 156-bed acute-care hospital. Florida Hospital DeLand is a part of the Adventist Health System; the largest Protestant not-for-profit hospital system in the nation and works to provide exceptional, patient-focused care to the DeLand community.
